So in Ubuntu Unity it is very easy to share your desktop with a colleague using the desktop sharing feature. I thought the same would be true when I switched to Fedora Gnome I thought the same would be true.

So when I turned on the desktop sharing feature I thought it would just work but it turns out there is a bug in Gnome.

The following command will lower the security settings and allow others to connect to your computer using a VNC viewer:

gsettings set org.gnome.Vino require-encryption false
