What is more urgent? What are you to do when multiple emergencies hit at the same time? How do you prioritise?

It’s easy to get caught up in the panic of the emergency. Rushing around will not help. Pause. Breathe. Think. It only takes a moment to slow down be still and think about what is the most urgent thing.

This thinking can happen in perceived emergencies as well.
Is the thing at work a true emergency? Do you really need to act hastily or can a proper solution be worked on.

Whether or not the emergency is real or engineered stepping away from emotion into our system 2 logical thinking can help us act in a better way.
